A journey through the years
Through years of creation, performance, and emotion — this is the story of a musical journey that continues.

YUGOSLAVIA 1953-1972
These photographs are from before my immigration abroad. They depict snapshots of my childhood spent in a communist country called Yugoslavia and represent key characters from my early life, and therefore also protagonists of my memoir, “Mother, Listen to My Song,” which is available to readers on the website here.

ENGLESKA 1972-1977

Almost in the saddle - England 1975

These photos are from a period of my life spent in England - working as a dishwasher first and then attending college to study Interior Design in Kingston Upon Thames, a small town south of
London. I managed to find happiness amidst the challenges and difficulties that the twenties themselves bring, especially in my case, because I was in a foreign country, faced with, among other things, immigration and financial problems.

ATLANTA 1980-2020
A few photos from a long period in which I achieved many of my boyhood dreams - among them a 1965 Ford Mustang - and ventured into some activities I never anticipated, such as:
ballroom dancing.

Photos from promoting my demo songs to record labels in Los Angeles in 1989
These photos were taken prior to my trip to Los Angeles by a professional photographer and now, looking back, I have to admit that he did a great job. It could be that his work contributed to the fact that four out of six label representatives that I contacted out of my motel on Sunset Boulevard actually listened to the cassette with my three songs and responded - unheard of in those days for an unknown artist pitching his songs “from the street” so to speak. Atlantic Records were interested and I was close to signing a deal with them but my ego got involved and the rest is ... heartbreaking history.
All was not lost as what followed was fifteen years of successful career in architecture and design and the return to music in 2005.
