CONCERT / PARTY PROMOTION FOR THE VIDEO ALBUM “ON THIN ICE”
This party took place late Spring of 2006 in Atlanta at KENJI design studio (an Interior Design firm
owned by Jim Weinberg and the late Kenny Rogers). It was staged about a week before the
arrival of the then developer only Donald Trump at this venue (hence the logo seen on the front
door) for the purpose of promoting Trump Tower Atlanta, a development that I was involved with
as a design consultant.
Several hundred visitors showed up, some among them my friends, business associates and
family members. Rich Leverone, a guitarist and my long time music associates (in sunglasses) put
together a band for the purpose.
By the time I got off the stage all the food - and most of the drink - was gone! Bummer!
Everybody seemed to have had fun and that was all that mattered. I never got a chance to
promote the album further so, as the saying goes, it died on the vine. The song “On Thin Ice” was
a hit among those that heard it, including some of my children which you can see as they join me
on stage at the end. They are all now grown up and doing well.
