I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you who have taken the time to visit my web site. As you navigate through it some of you might be surprised by the diversity of content in it. Having reached what is considered a golden age of human life I have decided to create a summary of my life’s endeavours so far. This includes my career in art, architecture and design, as well as a long standing involvement with music and even dabbling in storytelling. A short stint in diplomacy, as much as it did occur at the high point of my professional life, it is not worth dwelling
upon other then mentioning that some of my efforts there would eventually bear fruit for my native Croatia. Last but not least I am a proud father of five, all of my children now adult men living lives of their own choosing.

I have been fortunate to be blessed with two gifts which are paramount for most any achievement - doing what you love with audacity and courage notwithstanding. It is not talent. Nor is it an above average IQ. There are many talented people who do not achieve much and there are many smart people who lead lacklustre lives. In my view the two prerequisites for true success in life are imagination and curiosity. 

I wanted to find out what life looked like in the West, so I went west. I wanted to find out what it is like to be a designer so I became one. I wanted to see what it is like to compose my own songs, so I learned to do that. Paint a painting - that too. Learn to do ballroom dancing, Ditto. Karate. The same. Weight training - to improve a not so enviable physical constitution I was “endowed” with, if nothing else. Although hardly well trained in literature ( I was in a technical school at an early age) I wanted to see if I could write a book. So I wrote one (or two). Along the way my curiosity about how life works took me for many decades along the path of study of metaphysics and spirituality. You get the picture. 

Some keen observers have said I have lived multiple lives in this one. I suppose one could say that. For me, however, it is all one whole; a sequence of adventures, some successful and some not, united by the most powerful and effective thing of all in this world of ours and this is love. 

I have endeavoured to help those that came into my life to the best of my ability. So that when things were over, and they are sooner or later, those people were left better off for knowing me. This may not have always been the case, but this was and still is my intention. It is something I look upon with pride and satisfaction. 

In the end I want to emphasise that this web site is not only a cross section and a rough account of my past endeavours but also an ongoing account of my present activities - efforts to remain creative and useful in spite of some formidable challenges I have experienced of late.
