Architecture and design
Through decades of work in architecture and design, hundreds of projects have shaped my view of space, light, and form. Each project was an opportunity to combine technique and inspiration — reason and imagination.
From visionary to creator
As a trained architect and designer I participated in hundreds of projects in the course of my career acting as a visioneer, design consultant and illustrator - all under the same umbrella on many projects. Having established a design consulting/illustration practice after quitting the corporate world in 1988 I was privileged to work with some of the best design firms in the world and many notable developers and investors directly.
I started the first digital illustration company in Atlanta some time around 2000 and ran it until I closed shop in 2004 concentrating on fast-track design visioneering since - a niche practice that involved generating a vision for a project, design and illustration - simultaneously, a service that was a big hit especially among developers.
Along the way I nurtured my love for music and writing, continuing to write songs and record periodically. I started writing prose (out of boredom) around 2009 after the economic collapse that wiped out most of the architecture and design business among my clients.
I more or less quit this business altogether around 2016 after my 6 year sojourn in Croatia and return to the US, where I worked with only a handful of select clients.
I retired completely from Architecture and Design in 2023. Since then I have been involved with music only songwriting primarily, alone or with my songwriting partners globally, recording my material with producers worldwide, doing vocals myself or utilising lead vocalists from USA and England mostly.

For me, design is not just aesthetics, but an understanding of space and energy. Architecture is a dialogue between the material and spiritual worlds, between what we build and what we feel. In every project I seek a balance between form, function and soul.
